Terms of Service

1. Service

tick. provides cloud accounting software including transaction ingestion, IFRS-aligned reporting tools, team access, and optional modules (Capture, Colony, Payments, etc.). Features vary by subscription tier.

2. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate company and tax jurisdiction information.
• Maintain credential security for your account and org join codes.
• Review AI-assisted classifications and generated accounting policies before relying on them for filings — tick. assists professional judgment; it does not replace a qualified accountant where required.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans renew according to the billing cycle selected at checkout (processed via Stripe). You may cancel according to the plan terms shown at purchase. Free tiers may have usage limits on entities, team seats, and modules.

4. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service for unlawful activity, attempt to bypass security controls, or scrape other tenants' data. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. Intellectual property

tick. retains rights to the platform. You retain ownership of your business data and grant us a limited license to process it to provide the service.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, tick. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory local consumer protections apply in your jurisdiction.
